Flowstone Distillery South Africa – Wild African Botanicals
Snuffbox has a complex and almost seductive scent that hits notes like cocoa, dessert wine and burnt caramel, intertwined with warming, fruity hints of dried orange.
A completely unique tree, which gets its name from a small, dark fruit, which in the old days was hollowed out and used to hide snuff in. Hence the name Snuffbox. The tree grows right outside the distillery – just four meters away. The fruit ferments inside the small shell and ensures a very special taste. It’s gin that hardly resembles any gin you’ve tasted before.

“Flavors rise with malty warmth, cream and a grate of nutmeg. This gin is a smooth talker.”
About Flowstone Distillery
South African Flowstone Distillery is at home in the cradle of humanity. Quite literally. Here at the tip of Africa, it is believed that the human race originated and from here spread to the rest of the world. Many, many, many years later, Flowstone Gin was born. The idea arose over a gin with wild cucumbers. The name Flowstone comes from the rock formations that help define the area, while the flavors are the wide range of local, indigenous botanicals from the bush. They are the taste of the South African wilderness.
