Fanø Spirits was founded in 2015 by Lars Jensen Schou. Inspired by Fanø’s maritime history and the island’s numerous natural flavors, he developed Fanø Ship’s Room. Based on a rum that is distilled in Jamaica and subsequently seasoned and aged on Fanø, Fanø Skibsrom combines the taste of the Wadden Sea with the exotic Caribbean. Today, the range has expanded, and Fanø Spirits also produces akvavit.
