Woodstock Deep Sands Shiraz
A charming and flavourful Shiraz with classic Australian character. The palate offers cherries, plums, both red and dark fruit, a light earthy note, and fine hints of white pepper. The tannins are soft but defined enough to give the wine structure and length. It is perfect when the sun is shining and the grill is on, especially with grilled lamb, burgers, charcuterie, and other dishes with a touch of smoky savouriness. The grapes come from sandy soils in McLaren Vale, where slow ripening gives both fullness and elegance. After fermentation with skin contact and regular pump-overs, most of the wine is kept in stainless steel, while a smaller portion matures in older oak barrels.
Errazuriz Estate – Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon
A Cabernet Sauvignon with a fine balance of fruit, structure, and spice. It shows notes of plum, cherry, red berries, sweet spice, vanilla, and a light touch of liquorice. Fresh acidity and rounded tannins make it both food-friendly and easy to enjoy. The flavour profile leans toward blackcurrants, strawberries, blueberries, fine oak notes, and a lightly spicy touch, with a concentrated yet soft overall expression. It pairs beautifully with grilled meat, lamb, veal, and a cheese board later in the evening. This is exactly the kind of wine that works especially well when the grill is hot and you want something flavourful, rounded, and easy to enjoy in the glass. After maceration, the wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, rested in tank, and then gently aged in oak, which gives the wine its smooth structure and subtle oak spice.
