It was a joyful day when Bodegas Granbazán announced that they had created a new wine. Their Albariño wines are so highly sought after that it’s always a challenge for us to secure enough bottles. But with the arrival of Contrapunto, things are suddenly looking bright.
Granbazán themselves call this wine “their freshest Albariño,” and the moment it hits the glass, you understand why. Aromas of citrus, flowers, and stone fruit burst out, and the wine’s vibrant freshness makes it sparkle with energy. This is exactly the kind of white wine you crave when thirst strikes. It’s also the perfect match for both fish and seafood.
