About Champagne Diebolt-Vallois Far from the big Champagne houses, there is a small group of elite producers. Names like Selosse and Launois are among them. One of the most celebrated and renowned among connoisseurs, however, is Diebolt-Vallois, whose quality is truly exceptional. Diebolt-Vallois stands out from other producers with its feminine and subtle wines.

Diebolt-Vallois is based in the Grand Cru village of Cramant, and all the house’s Champagnes are dominated by Chardonnay – the main grape of this region. The vineyards are in close proximity to the house, which is why many of Diebolt-Vallois’ Champagnes are classified as Grand Cru Champagne.

The house’s fame rests partly on La Fleur de Passion, the outstanding vintage Champagne. This Champagne comes from a vineyard where the vines are around 60 years old. La Fleur de Passion is aged in small 225-liter oak barrels and undergoes malolactic fermentation before being bottled.

But even Diebolt-Vallois’ less prestigious Champagnes are of such high quality that they are offered by many Michelin-starred restaurants as the House Champagne. The quality speaks for itself.
