Nose: This is why we love Bunnahabhain so much. This distilery makes wonderfully tart whisky, yet the unturfed one remains our favourite. Thisone caries distinct notes of the sherry cask and strikes a very good chord with tasters. Mild, but powerful enough to make us happy.Sultanas with sea-salt chocolate.
Palate: Sultanas, figs, fullspiciness and nice sherry notes. The flavour is wonderfully powerful and one of the tasters mentions that this would bea delicious pairing with a freshly baked baguette with blue-veined cheese. So definitely a spicy whisky, without the peat that lslay is sowell known for.
Finish: Sultry and only here does a distinct chocolate sweetness emerge.
