Buffalo Barrel Zinfandel is a full-bodied and user-friendly Californian Zinfandel with juice and power, but without sharp edges.

The unusual aging in used American whiskey barrels for three months gives the wine a hint of the smoky character that is an integral part of whiskey’s aroma profile.

But at its core, this is a fruit-driven, rounded, and full-bodied wine with pleasant dark berry fruit, with hints of coffee and vanilla notes, all of which together provide a seamless drinking experience.

It pairs well with a gourmet burger, braised or grilled meats, a freshly carved roast, or as the wine on the coffee table when the TV misses some company.

We recommend serving it at a temperature of around 15-18°C.
