BenRiach Smoke Season is a bold and intensely smoky single malt whisky from Speyside, celebrating a lesser-known side of the region. BenRiach has long produced both peated and unpeated expressions, and Smoke Season is crafted to honour the specific time of year when the distillery works exclusively with heavily peated malt.
The whisky is made from 100% peated malt and matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and American virgin oak, highlighting sweetness, spice, and depth. Bottled at 52.8% ABV, with natural colour and no chill-filtration, it offers a raw, authentic experience of smoky malt character.
Tasting notes
Nose: caramel smoke, spiced oak, fresh citrus zest.
Palate: smoky dark vanilla, baked apple with cinnamon, burnt orange and dried fruits.

Why “Smoke Season”?
