Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum is the original, very classic white rum which is used in a multitude of drinks. It is crystal clear, soft and the quality is constant.
Enjoy it, for example, in a Derby Daquiri:
4 cl light rum
Possibly. 1 cl triple sec
5 cl orange juice
1 cl lime juice
5 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients together in a blender and serve in a cocktail glass.
In February 1862, the Bacardà family, led by Don Facundo Bacardà Masso, buys a distillery in Santiago de Cuba. Here they made their own unique blends and developed a revolutionary rum-making method that forever changed the way rum was made.
The bat is considered, in Cuba, to be a symbol of good luck and it is still believed that the little lucky figure on each of the bottles helps the distillery’s success and equally helps them through hard times.
In the 1960s, revolution came to Cuba and BacardÃ’s assets were seized. The family went to the United States, where the brand was resurrected and thrives to this day.
