Brilliant, clear yellow colour with a golden rim. The nose is enticing, with hints of tropical fruits such as papaya and mango, followed by notes of nectarine and citrus with a touch of vanilla. The palate is medium-bodied and broad, well balanced and with a distinct minerality in the finish.
Serve with light meats, fish dishes or semi-matured cheeses. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C
Production
AUSTO Chardonnay Oak is a blend of grapes from northern and southern Italy. The grapes are gently pressed, and the wine is fermented in stainless-steel tanks. It is then treated with oak for at least three months before being bottled.
About the producer
Terre Cevico was founded as a cooperative in 1963 by winegrowers from the Romagna region. In the 1960s and 70s, Terre Cevico started trading wine in bulk. In the 1980s and 90s, the business expanded to include bottled wine, and since 2000 the company has produced quality wines both in cartons and in bottles.
Today Terre Cevico operates mainly in Emilia-Romagna, but also has its own wineries in Veneto, Tuscany and Umbria. Their wines are now sold in 67 countries around the world – especially in France, China, Japan, the UK, the USA and Southeast Asia – with a turnover of 147 million euros. A fantastic success story that Terre Cevico and its members continue to write.
