Côtes du Jura “Expression du Terroir” Blanc is a classic, characterful Jura white where vibrant Chardonnay meets the distinctive depth of Savagnin. Sourced from sun-exposed slopes near Voiteur, it delivers clear minerality, lively tension and a subtle saline edge. Expect citrus and stone fruit, white flowers and a refined spicy note, followed by a gentle, nutty “Jura” nuance that lingers on the finish. A natural match for aged cheeses, mushrooms, creamy dishes—and foods with a touch of spice.

How the wine is made
The grapes are harvested and sorted by hand. The blend is 70% Chardonnay and 30% Savagnin from the “Vrihou” site on the slopes of Voiteur, on soils dominated by grey marl with layers of fine limestone containing fossils. The style is shaped by two distinct ageing approaches: Savagnin is aged in oak barrels under a yeast veil (sous voile) for 3 years, building complexity and the hallmark notes of spice and subtle nuttiness. Chardonnay is aged at the same time in topped-up barrels (ouillé)—in oak barrels/foudres—for 3 years, preserving freshness and precision. The final wine is then assembled into a balanced Jura blanc with both energy and depth.
