Anna Spinato Prosecco DOC Millesimato Brut Rosé 75 CL

Azienda Vinicola Winery

A perfect wine for summer parties! Spinato Prosecco Millesimato Rosé is a dry sparkling wine from the hills of Treviso. It is made from 85% glera and 15% pinot noir, which is the highest content of pinot noir allowed in Prosecco Rosé. Both are harvested manually, first the pinot noir and then the glera at the beginning of September. The two grapes are vinified separately; the pinot noir as a traditional red wine, which gives the pink color. Subsequently, the two wines are mixed before the second fermentation. The result is an impressively fresh and summery pink prosecco, which also has depth and character. Impossible to stand for!

Color: Pink.
Smell: Inviting aromas of cherries, cranberries and a touch of roses.
Tasting notes: The bubbles are soft and creamy. Notes of rose hip, freshly baked bread, blackcurrants and cherries.

Serving suggestion: Serve it chilled, e.g. with grilled squid or other seafood.

Anna Spinato Winery is located in Ponte de Piave, a little north of Venice. The winery was founded by Anna’s father, Pietro, in the 1950s, and she stepped in her childhood shoes in the fields where she helped her father make wine, which they subsequently took to Venice and sold in the city’s wine bars. Today, Anna manages the winery together with her son Roberto, and they no longer need to rush to the bar to sell the wine, because with a long series of medals and high points in respected wine competitions, they have been so successful on the international market that they can export virtually the entire production to countries such as Denmark, Japan and Canada.

Anna Spinato grows the area’s traditional grapes, for example glera, moscato and raboso, as well as a number of international varieties – but the focus is still on making absolutely top class prosecco.
