Bottled at a formidable 55% ABV, this cask-strength whisky is one of only 343 bottles. Distilled in 2007 and matured for 17 years, this Highland single malt underwent a finishing period in a 1st Fill Pedro Ximénez Sherry Butt, imparting layers of luscious sweetness and depth. NOSE A luxurious burst of dried dates, figs, and caramelised nuts, followed by waves of honey-drizzled apricots, cinnamon, and dark chocolate. Hints of vanilla, nutmeg, and polished oak add depth, while a subtle touch of floral honey and orange peel lifts the aroma. PALATE Full-bodied and indulgent, offering rich Pedro Ximénez sweetness with flavours of toffee, black cherries, and stewed plums. A velvety texture carries notes of espresso, toasted almonds, and spiced fruitcake, balanced by Teaninich’s signature citrus zest and malty backbone FINISH Long and warming, with lingering sherried sweetness, dark chocolate, and roasted hazelnuts, fading into a final flourish of gentle spice, oak tannins, and orange-infused honey.
