Nicolas Feuillatte Vintage Blanc de Blancs is made from 100% Chardonnay and has spent six years ageing in the Champagne cellars. It is classic Blanc de Blancs—golden and shimmering with an impressive abundance of bubbles. The nose shows white flowers, sea buckthorn, acacia, lemons and pears. A full-bodied Champagne with a fresh, powerful mousse, yet a soft finish and a complex aftertaste of honey and citrus fruit. A very fine Champagne that has received excellent acclaim, including 92 points from Wine Spectator and 91 points from James Suckling.

France’s best-selling Champagne brand

Nicolas Feuillatte is the youngest of the major Champagne houses and one of the fastest-growing Champagne brands. Today, Nicolas Feuillatte is among the best-selling Champagne brands in France.

Monsieur Nicolas Feuillatte was born into a family whose livelihood was built on import businesses, so it was natural for him to follow that path. Before that, however, he joined the French army and served bravely during World War II. He returned home unharmed at the age of 21. In the early 1950s he emigrated to the United States, initially working as a coffee importer. He had a natural talent for business and built a wide circle of friends within New York’s international jet set when a completely new chapter of his life began. His father passed away and left him a vineyard in Bouleuse in Champagne, and the Champagne-loving Nicolas set out to become a Champagne producer himself. His father had previously supplied grapes—more modestly—to the major Champagne houses. Nicolas’ first Champagne was named “Réserve Particulière” in 1978 and, as the name suggests, it was reserved only for friends—at that time including several of New York’s celebrated actresses, who became excellent ambassadors for Nicolas Feuillatte.
