This is a lovely off-dry / semi-sweet rosé made from Grenache grapes. Shortly after harvest, the grapes were destemmed, crushed and cold-macerated prior to alcoholic fermentation until the desired colour was achieved. The wine was then fermented at a low temperature in stainless-steel tanks to preserve the must’s fruity, floral aromas.
In the glass you’re met by an intensely coloured rosé with ripe strawberries, raspberries and white summer flowers, brought together in a delicate interplay between natural grape sweetness and fresh acidity—much like a summery fruit salad.
This is a wine with straightforward charm—fully in line with the Aussies themselves. It’s the kind of rosé you don’t need to overthink; it simply tastes intuitively good, without grand ambitions of changing the world.
Woodstock Grenache Rosé is an excellent thirst-quencher that pairs beautifully with spicy, hot dishes and/or a warm summer day in the garden.
Enjoy well chilled—straight from the fridge or from an ice bucket.
