Ron Cueva 1501 Panama Rum Sistema 33 Solera 70 cl. 40%
Premium Aged Panama Rum
Cueva was one of the earliest tribes in Panama. The Cueva people were encountered in 1501 when the Spanish reached Panama’s coasts in their search for gold. The Cuevas died out in 1535 as a result of conflict with the Spanish and disease. Ron Cueva is a tribute to this ancient tribe, now returning to “conquer” the world with a genuine rum from Panama. Ron Cueva is about supporting the indigenous peoples of Panama today through various projects.
Ron Cueva 33 is a blend of specially selected rums aged in the Sistema Solera for up to 33 years.
The colour is deep amber or patinated mahogany.
Rich, tarry aromas with dark fruits, dates, figs, polished leather, honeyed pineapple, nougat, and chocolate.
The palate is smooth, with sweet molasses, port-wine-infused cigarillo, raisins, ripe cherries, dates, figs, spices, and pineapple, finishing with a final hint of caramel.
Enjoy it in a proper glass over ice and in good company.
