This port wine has an excellent deep ruby ​​red color. Very aromatic and fresh nose, bursting with blackberries and fruit combined with fragrant floral tones. On the palate there is a seductive taste of plums and cherries.
Warre’s was founded in 1670 as the first British port wine producer and
since then, the company has been a pioneer and market leader in port wine. You
established as the first own wine cellars in Villa Nova de Gaia, as a clear
evidence that the Warre family early recognized the importance of storage for quality
of good port wine. Warre’s is today owned by the Symington family, who have been involved
with port wine trade uninterrupted through 13 generations. The daily management from
Winemaker for CEO is handled by the family and no other family owns
so many “Premium” vineyards in the Douro Valley. Warre’s is the only port wine house,
who can write “Royal Court Supplier” on the label.
