Another wonderful Rome from Panama, this time produced by the room Malecon company. This company uses upscale, old, Cuban recipes and high quality Panamanic canister to produce their delicious spirits. This rom is distilled by molasses. It has been stored on reheated previous bourbon dishes for over 12 years, producing a Rome with a rare wealth and complexity. On the nose, this rom is sweet and dark with aromas of dried fruit, coconut, almonds, mango and banana. The palate has a medium body, with some wooden cleaning and oak taste that gives room for the same fruits in the nose while adding a creamy chocolate flavor. The end is short, with a little cinnamon and toffee. A wonderful room and the opportunity for good value to sip.
