Rieger’s Straight Bourbon Whiskey 70 cl. 43%

A blast of a Straight Bourbon Whiskey bottled by J. Rieger Co. in Kansas City, Missouri. The whiskey is aged in virgin American oak casks and since it has the designation “straight”, we know that it has been aged for at least 2 years. When Rieger thought it was ripe, it was bottled at 43% alcohol as “EU Exclusive”.

Colour: Amber.
Aroma: Wonderful, classic bourbon aroma of melting brown sugar, vanilla pods and toasted oak.
Tasting notes: Sweet and buttery mouthfeel with notes of cloves, cinnamon, honey and freshly ground coffee.

Serving suggestion: A superb bourbon for an Old Fashioned, but it can certainly also be enjoyed neat!
