Ubalinda Reserva
A full-bodied and flavourful Spanish red with clear reserva character. The palate offers red fruit, dark berries, vanilla, oak, and ripe tannins, with a silky yet firm structure and a long, balanced finish. It pairs very well with red meat, chicken, turkey, game, and aged cheeses. The wine is made from Tempranillo grown on old vines in D.O. Cigales. The grapes are hand-harvested, fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, and then aged for 24 months in French and American oak barrels, giving the wine both depth and classic reserva style.
Mas de Boislauzon – Côtes-du-Rhône-Villages
A characterful southern Rhône wine with power, structure, and juicy fruit. The palate shows red and dark fruit, black olives, herbs from Provence, and a lightly spicy note. It pairs beautifully with grilled meats, lamb, rustic stews, and flavourful cheeses. The wine is Grenache-dominant with elements of Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Carignan. After a long maceration and fermentation, it is aged for around one year in both large oak casks and tank. The estate is organically certified, the harvest is done by hand, and the vinification is traditional with temperature control.
Schola Sarmenti – Nerio Riserva Negroamaro-Malvasia
A warm, generous, and full-bodied southern Italian red with dark cherries, plums, blackberries, spice, and a light note of dried fruit. On the palate it is soft, rounded, and flavourful with a long finish. It pairs especially well with grilled meats, slow-cooked dishes, lamb, richly flavoured pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. The wine is made from 80 percent Negroamaro and 20 percent Malvasia Nera di Lecce from around 50-year-old vines, grown according to the Alberello Pugliese system. The grapes are hand-picked in ventilated crates, and the wine is then aged for 8 months in French tonneaux followed by 8 months in bottle.
