An exciting rum from Oliver & Oliver, based in the Dominican Republic, buys rum in the Caribbean to mix it in the best way.
It is a secret which rums are included in the various blends. However, it is no secret that a large part of the rum originates from Cuba, where the Oliver family has its roots, and also had a rum distillery at the end of the 18th century. When they founded the company, they were allowed to buy around 100,000 liters of good Cuban rum. The rest of the rum is from Panama, Trinidad, Colombia and Nicaragua, but a large part also comes from their own island, the Dominican Republic.
This 15 year edition is a fantastic composition of the difficult coupling between rum and whiskey and clearly one of their best. The rum is carefully selected by their rum master blender. A very tasty and elegant rum from one of the world’s great rum producers, Oliver&Oliver, who really knows how to spoil us.
Aged in a Solera in American oak casks, where it acquires a good harmony and great complexity, and then the maturation is completed in casks where there had previously been Scottish Single Malt Whisky.

Sweetness in a fine harmony between pepper notes, vanilla and the dryness of the whiskey cask
Aftertaste
The dryness is clearly evident, where together with the natural sweetness and the pepper, it carries the long aftertaste with style
