An exciting rum from Oliver & Oliver, who is based in the Dominican Republic, buys rum in the Caribbean, in order to mix it in the best way.
It is a secret which rums are included in the various blends. It is no secret that a large part of the rum comes from Cuba, where the Oliver family has its roots, and also had a rum distillery at the end of the 18th century. When they founded the company, they were allowed to buy around 100,000 liters of good Cuban rum. The rest of the Roma are from Panama, Trinidad, Colombia and Nicaragua, but a large part also comes from their own island, the Dominican Republic.
This 25-year-old rum is aged in a Solera in American oak casks, where it acquires a good harmony and great complexity, and then finishes the maturation in casks, where port wine was previously
