Marolo Grappa di Barolo Bussia is a grappa made from the pomace of Nebbiolo grapes grown in one of Piedmont’s finest vineyards: Bussia, located in the heart of Barolo. The grappa has rested in stainless steel tanks until bottling and is bursting with floral notes and a rich, warming taste. It is bottled at 45% alcohol, which enhances this grappa’s impressive depth.

The Producer:
Paolo Marolo is the founder of this fantastic distillery, located on the outskirts of the city of Alba, nestled between the famous wine regions of Barolo and Barbaresco in Piedmont. Marolo is highly recognized and respected by connoisseurs and restaurateurs in Italy, Europe, and the USA.
The distillery was established in 1977 and uses the artisanal method discontinuo a bagnomaria (batch distillation with a water bath). Here, the grape pomace is heated indirectly with water to ensure gentle handling of the raw material.
