Light pink color. Youthful berry aroma with hints of smoked fruit, currants, blood orange and herbs. Dry, fresh and fruity rosé with hints of blood grapes, rhubarb, strawberries and herbs.
The grapes are mechanically harvested early in the morning when it is cool to preserve the freshness of the grapes. The grape skins were allowed to macerate with the must for approximately 8-12 hours to extract color from the skins of the Sauvignon Gris. After fermentation, the wine is stored for a few weeks in stainless steel tanks together with its lees.
Perfect as an accompanying wine or aperitif and for buffets, finger foods, salads and picnics.

Residual sugar 3.8 g/l
François Lurton one of the biggest names in the wine world
François Lurton was born and raised in a castle in Bordeaux. However, he began his own success story as a flying winemaker in South America. Today, François Lurton is the man behind a number of successful wines from estates in Argentina, Chile, Spain and France. François is called the “white wine king” for his skillful handling of the sauvignon blanc grape, not least in the form of the hit Les Fumées Blanches but also as orange wine and as craft gin in the form of the celebrated Sorgin.
It all started in the early 1990s, when François and his brother Jaques worked as flying winemakers together in Argentina. There they also acquired their first vineyards. In 2007 they separated and today François is the sole owner of a very successful and growing wine empire. Below you can click and read more about François Lurton’s other wine characteristics:
