KAH Tequila is a series of tequilas designed to showcase the ancient traditions associated with “Dia de Muertos” (Day of the Dead) and South American heritage. KAH means life in the ancient Mayan language.
KAH Tequila Añejo has a strong agave flavor accompanied by chocolate, tobacco and coffee notes. It is aged for 2 years in American oak barrels.
The bottle is inspired by the Nicaraguan “Day of the Dead” traditions. In addition to the old traditions, in Nicaragua they go one step further and instead of going home after the cemetery party, many people stay and sleep in the cemetery. They believe that this act strengthens the emotional connection between them and the deceased.
