The original Rome for Dark ‘n’ Stormy
In 1806, the wine and spirits trader traveled James Gosling out of England aboard the ship Merceury with course against America. With him he had goods for more than 10,000 pounds. He did not succeed in achieving America – instead he traveled to the nearest port, which was at Bermuda, and it was the start of the company Gosling’s.
Today makes Gosling’s Rome and Ginger Beer. Since 1858, Gosling’s Black Seal Rome has been one of the finest Rome on the market. It has a rich, complicated and well-balanced taste with notes of cream caramel and vanilla. The aftermake is soft and elegant.
We recommend that the ROM be enjoyed in a Dark ‘N’ Stormy, which Gosling’s officially has a patent.
Serving suggestions
Dark ‘n’ Stormy
• 5 cl. Gosling’s Black Seal room
• Ginger Beer.
• Lime juice and a slice of lime
• Ice cubes
Getting the room in a nice glass with ice cubes, add a bulkhead and top up with Ginger Beer. Decorate with a slice of lime and serve.
