Distilled in 1990, this 30-year-old Glenlivet was aged in Bourbon casks before being bottled at its natural strength in the Connoisseur Choice Upper range. This single malt pleasantly blends gourmet (pear, green apple, mango) and spicy (black pepper, ginger) notes. Of all the existing trade areas, Connoisseur Choice is probably the oldest. This cask strength whiskey was bottled by Gordon & MacPhail as part of the Connoisseur’s Choice range. Lots of vanilla and orchard on the nose and a flavor full of crushed black pepper and lychee.
