Amrut Greedy Angels is a Limited Edition Single Malt Whiskey from Bangalore in India. The name refers to the infamous “Angel’s Share” – the quantity of whiskey, which every year evaporates from the dishes. In before it is notoriously high, and can be easily 3 and 4 times as large as in Scotland. Therefore, there is not much whiskey that survives to this age (8 years), outside to be tapped (and drunk?). It is made on both smoked and non-smoked malt from Scotland and India and is tapped at 50% alcohol, without dye or cooling filtration.
Color: amber.
Fragrance: Beautiful scent of tropical fruit, vanilla, curry and ginger.
Taste notes: The taste is fat and full. Here are pineapple, mangochutney and milk chocolate.
Serving suggestions: should be enjoyed clean, possibly. with a drop of water or two.
