Few people remember that Symingtons started with a capital of only PLN 100,000. pounds and during the first five years of operation they came close to bankruptcy several times. The name “Signatory” stands for Signatory | The Symingtons intended to engage a famous person to sign each issue with his signature on the label. The first cask of whiskey in Signatory’s offering was Glenlivet 1968, but until the company found the right signatory there was no trace of the whiskey. The Glenrothes presented here, distilled 2011, aged over 12 years in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, bottled in 2023 at 48.2% abv and without cold filtration with the designation Small Batch # 2″

Aroma: buttery croissant, honey, raisins and sultanas, orange peel, caramel, cinnamon and a hint of cloves.

Taste: vanilla pudding, chocolate covered raisins, honey, milk fudge, cinnamon buns, peaches, mirabelle jam, white pepper, ginger and oak.

Aftertaste: medium long, with notes of vanilla, honey, orchard, white pepper, ginger and oak.
