DICTADOR TWO MASTERS RUM 44% Glenfarclas 1977 is produced in a collaboration between Callum A Fraser, Production Manager at J & G Grant, Glenfarclas Distillery and Hernan Parra, Master Blender at Dictador.

The rum is aged primarily at Dictador in Columbia, but also at Glenfarclas, where the rum has aged in a 3rd Fill Oloroso Sherry Cask for 49 months. Only 254 bottles were produced in total, numbered 1-254.

On the nose, you find a fantastic vanilla and sweetness, which transitions into shades of kaffir lime leaves and fresh pineapple. Tones of toasted coconut and hazelnut as well as hints of sherry and coca nuts contribute to a nice depth and complexity. In the mouth there are notes of maple syrup, cedar, forest floor, molasses and toffee. The rum also offers a fine note of malt and cigar box, which underpins the very intense taste. The rum waves back and forth and in the finish there are red apples, toffee and light bonfire notes which really emphasize the complexity.

Perhaps the most well composed Two Master rum. Only 12 bottles have found their way to Denmark.

Dictador is a Colombian rum producer whose strong roots date back to 1913, when the company was founded under the name Destilería Colombiana by Don Julio Aango y Parra.
