Château Dupa is an amazingly affordable but worthy representative of the Médoc appellation, which with its dry, elegant and precise style is ‘classic French’ in a nice way.
This cuvée is a blend of 65% merlot, 30% cabernet sauvignon, 5% petit verdot, which is traditionally vinified with just under 3 weeks of maceration and subsequent aging in aroma-neutral tanks for approx. one year. No oak casks are used during fermentation or aging.
Aroma and taste offer a mixture of blackcurrants, wild berries and some currants with firm but ripe tannins.
Château Dupa is a dry, elegant wine with a good, long aftertaste that will be a suitable accompaniment to not too heavy dishes with poultry, veal, beef or lamb.
We recommend a serving temperature of approx. 17°.

“Dominated by 61% Merlot, this wine is jammy, juicy with blackberry flavors. The tannins and core of richness offer some aging potential”
