CDI – Jamaica Navy Strength 4 Years Old Rum 70 cl. 57%

Jamaica Aged Rum

CDI Jamaica Navy Strength 4 Years Old Rum is a powerful, intense, and expressive Jamaican rum with a distinct character and classic navy strength style. It is bottled at 57%, giving it extra drive, depth, and energy while still keeping its balance. The style is generous and aromatic, where ripe fruit, sugarcane, and darker gourmand notes come together in a warm and full-bodied profile for those looking for a more authentic Jamaican rum character.

How it tastes
The nose is explosive and inviting, with notes of ripe banana, fresh sugarcane juice, candied fruit, and a light touch of praline. On the palate, it is broad, powerful, and full-bodied, showing clear fruity and almost pastry-like notes of flambéed banana and pineapple, gently rounded by a discreet hint of chocolate. The finish is long, warm, and generous with a clear Jamaican signature.

How and by whom it is produced
This rum is a blend of Jamaican rums combining two distillation styles, copper pot still and column still, giving it both structure and complexity. It is fermented for 24 to 72 hours and then aged for four years in American ex-bourbon casks. It is bottled in France without chill filtration by Compagnie des Indes, a French independent bottler founded in 2015 by Florent Beuchet.
