Hailing from Ardnamurchan distillery in the Western Highlands, this single malt is a limited run of just 7200 bottles. Matured in 28 bourbon barrels, that were re-racked in Jamaican rum casks for 2 and a half years, which were then married with 3 other bourbon barrels. Bottled at 55% abv, free from chill filtration.
Expect a fruit forward yet earthy nose, with lemon gelato, overripe apricot, dusty hay, heavily salted cashew, vanilla and dried banana. The palate brings flavours of candied grapefruit, stracciatella ice cream, red cedar, guava and buttercream icing, before a spritzy and bright medium-length finish.
