Vanilla and orange peel are among the more than 40 spices that help to give Amaro Montenegro its characteristic silky soft, bittersweet taste. The color is deep amber. The aroma carries notes of orange, fresh coriander, cherry and pekoe-tea. The taste is only sweet, but then becomes slightly bitter and ‘botanical’ with a citrus-like aftertaste.
