By enjoying this blend, you help preserve a proud piece of Danish maritime history — Fregatten Jylland. The ship is one of the world’s largest and oldest wooden vessels, and it completed five voyages to the Danish West Indies between 1871 and 1887. According to the story, the crew was rewarded with a daily ration of spirit from Albert Heinrich Riise. As of 2025, sales of Fregatten Jylland have contributed more than DKK 170,000 towards the restoration of the historic museum ship.

Nose
Deep and intense aromas of cigar box, caramel and chocolate, with a “green” hint of grass and mint.

Palate
The flavour starts gently, then intensifies with pineapple, honeydew melon and banana. You also sense an enticing note of milk chocolate.

Finish
A burst of orange crunch followed by a lightly spiced aftertaste.
