Arran 10 Years Old is the signature expression of the Lochranza Distillery on the Isle of Arran, and a brilliant example of what unpeated island single malt can offer. Matured for a full decade primarily in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, with a small proportion of sherry casks, this whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and with no added colour – preserving the natural character and mouthfeel of the spirit.
The nose opens with fresh orchard fruits – green apples, pears, and citrus – alongside sweet barley, vanilla cream, and a touch of floral heather. There’s a bright liveliness to the aroma, underscored by honeyed malt and subtle oak spice.
