On the nose, it develops a palette of aromas of red fruits and stone fruits, supported by spicy notes. Round and well structured on the palate, the body presents harmonious and quite discreet woody notes. The finish, meanwhile, is incredibly long and there is a note of bitter chocolate on the finish.
On the Grands Crus route, the commune of Flagey-Echezeaux is home to an exclusively Grands Crus appellation. Its etymology comes from the term “Chezeaux” designating the group of surrounding hamlets.
On very light soil with a steep slope, our plot faces east at an altitude of 300 meters, ensuring good sunshine.
