Finally, Hazelburn also comes in a 21 year edition! While Springbank has long – and Longrow for some time – been available at this age, the unsmoked version of Springbank, Hazelburn, has been a long time coming. This is partly because Springbank has only produced Hazelburn since 1997 and only in very small quantities, so there is simply less in stock. The whiskey here is bottled at 46% without coloring or chill filtration.

Colour: Amber.
Aroma: Caramel, syrup and melted chocolate meet the nose at first sniff. A hint of ginger in the background. Great!
Tasting notes: Rich and creamy with notes of marzipan, dark chocolate and sweet licorice.

Serving suggestion: Should be enjoyed neat.
