Scent: Entertaining and enticing scent. Big, spicy but sweet. Taste: Old Danish Chili & Licorice Shot is full-bodied and very tasty. The sweetness and licorice notes are there all the way as a backbone of the drink. The herbiness and a slight bitterness are present on a corner completely according to the Old Danish manner. Layer after layer emerges and it just continues to surprise. In the aftertaste, the spiciness from the chili emerges as a warming, hot finish. Not too much but enough to reach another level.

Old Danish Chili & Licorice Shot is in the same family as Old Danish Bitter but not as challenging in its bitterness. It is a modern version with a clear licorice and chili flavor. A trendy shot that has a given place at the bar in the pub or at the pre-party at home. It is produced from the same 29 herbs and spices as the original, Gammel Dansk, but the parts have been changed relative to each other for a significantly less bitter experience. Here, they have chosen to add more raw licorice together with chili, which then becomes ingredient number 30.
