A wine case for anyone who loves red wines with sun-ripened fruit, warm spice, and plenty of personality. Here you get the two most beloved expressions of the grape: American Zinfandel with dark fruit, oak, and power, and southern Italian Primitivo with velvety warmth, plum, cherry, and soft spice. This is a case full of flavour, charm, and wines that pair just as well with grilled and rustic food as they do with a glass on their own.
A full-bodied and approachable red wine with generous dark berry fruit, vanilla, coffee, and a lightly smoky note that gives the wine extra character. The style is round, soft, and crowd-pleasing, making it a reliable choice for gourmet burgers, grilled meats, braised dishes, and flavourful everyday meals. The wine is made from carefully selected Zinfandel grapes from California and gains its signature style through around 90 days of ageing in used American whiskey barrels, adding extra roundness and a subtle whiskey-inspired spice.
A powerful and harmonious wine with plenty of dark fruit, sweet red berries, spice, and a long, smooth finish. It combines generosity with balance, and the soft tannins make it easy to enjoy despite its full-bodied style. It pairs very well with white meat, duck, grilled dishes, and mild cheeses. The grapes are specially selected for this wine, harvested at optimal ripeness in Lodi, and vinified traditionally before the wine matures in both American and French oak.
An intense and expressive Zinfandel with aromas of red berries, baked plums, vanilla, floral notes, and sweet spices. On the palate, flavours of raspberry jam, clove, black tea, and black pepper come forward, with soft tannins that provide length and energy without becoming harsh. This is a wine that shines with barbecue, ribs, burgers, and other grilled meat dishes with plenty of flavour. The wine comes from Lodi and is made as a blend of 83 percent Zinfandel and 17 percent Petite Sirah, before ageing for 17 months in mainly American oak with a smaller proportion of French oak.
A generous and juicy Primitivo with ripe cherries, dark berries, plums, dried fruit, and fine hints of spice and cocoa. The palate is round and warm, yet also has a freshness that keeps the wine lively, with soft tannins and a long, gently spicy finish. It pairs beautifully with pizza, pasta with ragù, grilled meat dishes, and aged cheeses. The wine is made from 100 percent Primitivo from around 15-year-old vines, the grapes are hand-harvested in small ventilated crates, and the wine then matures at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks to preserve fruit and freshness.
A dark, concentrated, and powerful Primitivo with great personality. Here, ripe plums, black cherries, blackberries, dried fruit, sweet spices, liquorice, cocoa, and a touch of vanilla come together in a velvety, warm expression with very soft tannins. It is an excellent match for entrecôte, lamb, slow-cooked dishes, game, spicy sausages, hearty pasta dishes, and aged cheeses. The wine is made from 100 percent Primitivo from around 65-year-old alberello vines, hand-harvested and then aged for 6 months in French tonneaux followed by 8 months in bottle.
A warm and full-bodied Primitivo with charming southern fruit and a soft, silky texture on the palate. The flavour profile offers wild red berries, cherries, liquorice, and Mediterranean notes, with a long and rounded finish that makes the wine especially easy to enjoy. It pairs particularly well with classic Italian dishes, pizza, pasta, game, and hard cheeses. The wine is produced using organic farming methods in Puglia, where clay and limestone soils, elevated vineyards, cool nights, and sunny days help the grapes ripen slowly and develop concentration and aromatic richness.
