Handcrafted Cornish Dry Gin – Created On The Wild Cornish Coast
Tarquin’s Rhubarb and Raspberry is a fruit gin from Cornwall in southern England. The base of this fruit gin is Tarquin’s own Cornish Dry Gin, made from wheat spirit and 12 selected botanicals, including cardamom and violet. At this stage of the process, the gin has an ABV of 76%, after which it is infused with raspberries and rhubarb, both 100% British. When Tarquin feels the balance is just right, it is then reduced to 38%. No added sugar!
Colour: Like almost ripe raspberries. Nose: Juniper comes through nicely alongside generous notes of raspberry, lemon sorbet, and cardamom. Palate: Beautifully balanced and not overly sweet, with fresh citrus notes, rhubarb, and juniper.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy it neat or in cocktails – for example, try it in a spritz with sparkling wine and a twist of lemon peel.
