Non Plus Ultra means “nothing beyond this” — a Latin phrase that, according to legend, marked the boundary of the known world. The series is part of our Ultra Premium Collection and celebrates curiosity, courage, and noble craftsmanship. Old St. Croix Non Plus Ultra – La Galante is named after Columbus’ ship, Santa Maria La Galante, which carried him to St. Croix and the West Indies. The blend is based on specially selected casks from renowned distilleries in the Caribbean and Central America. It is matured in oak casks that previously held dessert and fortified wines, adding richness, roundness, and warmth. La Galante captures the flourishing essence of the West Indies and St. Croix, with a distinctive touch of orange and citrus.

Nose An enticing aroma of caramel, crème brûlée, and vanilla, with notes of mahogany and the aromatic Bay Rum tree that grows wild on the West Indian islands.
Palate Complex, full-bodied, and softly spiced, with a touch of orange, creamy vanilla, and lemon, supported by oak-cask notes from the finest quality wood.
Finish Rich and creamy, echoing the opening flavours as they gradually fade into a long, lingering finish.
