Winemaking
Crafted from Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Petite Sirah. After fermentation, the wine aged for 18 months in 100% new French oak barrels.

Brothers Michael and David Phillips descend from a family of farmers who have grown wine grapes in California’s Lodi region for nearly a century. Today, the family enterprise includes the sixth generation: Kevin Phillips and Melissa Phillips Stroud. The family continues the tradition of producing high-quality wines with eye-catching, distinctive labels.
Michael David Winery farms with respect for future generations and has implemented some of the most progressive, sustainable agricultural practices in California. The family cultivates 300 hectares of vineyards, and since the 2011 vintage all Lodi-grown grapes from Michael David Winery have been certified sustainable.
