We love Savanna’s Art of Rum series, and with this 3rd edition they’ve really nailed it: the bottle—adorned by the artist Repy (the theme of the series)—contains a rum composed of both rhum agricole and grand arôme, married directly in the cask by Savanna’s cellar master. And yes, those are cognac casks. It’s bottled at 57% ABV with no added sugar or colouring.

The Savanna distillery, located on Réunion Island, is renowned for mastering complex aromatic profiles and for its ability to innovate. This Artist Edition – Art of Rum by REPY is a perfect illustration of that. Two white rums distilled in 2019—one agricole and one grand arôme—were blended under the AGA designation before aging for four years in Cellar No. 4, a humid environment that promotes intense and original maturation. The result is a rum bottled at 57% ABV, rich and expressive.
The visual identity of this cuvée was entrusted to REPY, a Réunion-born artist passionate about script and graphic forms, whose work combines graffiti, illustration, and letter painting. This collaboration between urban art and rum tradition offers a contemporary expression of Réunionese craftsmanship.
