Notes directly from the tasting room: “The 12 year old really shows what The Glenrothes’ ‘House whisky’ is. All the different flavors come from a balance of both American and European sherry casks, which together give a soft and persistent sweetness.”

The Glenrothes 12 years is aged exclusively in sherry casks of both American and European oak. There is also a mixture of casks filled for the first time and of refill casks to get a balanced whisky.

Light fragrance, banana and vanilla

The taste:
Banana, lemon and melon with a hit of cinnamon

Aftertaste:
Long and sweet, gala melon with light spice
