Handcrafted Cornish Gin – Created On The Wild Cornish Coast
Tarquin’s Pink Lemon, Grapefruit and Peppercorn Gin is another addition to the range of fabulous fruit gins from the small distillery in Cornwall. Pink lemons are an unusual variety that was first discovered in California in the 1930s. Since then, they have become hugely popular, both for their beautiful appearance and the taste, which has a little less acid and a little more sweetness than normal lemons. However, they are still relatively rare and this is definitely the first time we have seen them in gin! The lemons are joined by grapefruit and rose pepper. The gin is dry (no added sugar) but fruity, and really livens up a gin & tonic.
Colour: Delicate pink.
Scent: A really lovely scent of citrus, rose pepper and juniper.
Tasting notes: Fresh and exotic in taste, dry but lovely red fruit and juicy.
Serving suggestion: Enjoy it neat, with a good tonic or in cocktails.
