Thursday, March 26th will be something truly special in Helsingør. We’re excited to welcome Graeme McKay from Adelphi & Ardnamurchan, who will guide us through a tasting that takes you behind the scenes — both at the distillery and into some of the most sought-after independent bottlings on the market.

Who is Graeme McKay?
Graeme works closely with both Adelphi — the legendary independent bottler known for uncompromising quality and outstanding cask selection — and Ardnamurchan Distillery, one of Scotland’s most exciting new distilleries. He’s not just “the guy with the bottles”, but a passionate whisky storyteller with deep insight into raw materials, distillation, and cask maturation. That means you won’t just taste the whisky — you’ll also get the stories, the thinking behind each release, and the small details that make all the difference.

What can you expect?
An evening featuring new releases, high strength drams, sherry influence and smoke — plus a rare opportunity to taste bottles you don’t come across every day. We’ll dive into style, terroir and cask types, all in a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of room for questions, whisky nerding, and good laughs.

The tasting is split into two rounds, with a 20–30 minute break in between, giving you time for water, a stretch, and a chance to compare tasting notes.

• Adelphi’s Islay Single Malt 46.0% – NEW release (Caol Ila) – First Fill Sherry & Bourbon

• Adelphi High Coast (Sweden) 2014 Oloroso – 58.1%

• Adelphi Inchgower 2010 Palo Cortado – 57.7%

• Adelphi Arran 2014 1st Fill Oloroso – 57.1%

• New product (arriving before the tasting) – possibly Glenrothes FC Jens
