Three bottles of white wine that we at Rasch Vin recommend when quality is the main focus. Here, Italian precision, classic Graves elegance, and generous American Chardonnay come together in a selection that shows just how exciting white wine can be when origin, craftsmanship, and personality are allowed to speak in full. A carefully chosen package for anyone who wants to serve something truly special – for dinner, the weekend, or as a thoughtful gift for someone who loves wines with character.
Fattoria Coroncino Verdicchio Gaiospino
A characterful and gastronomic white wine with notes of citrus, apple, plum, herbs, and clear minerality. The palate is concentrated and nuanced, yet at the same time fresh and energetic, with a fine saline touch that adds length and tension. It pairs beautifully with grilled or oven-baked fish, seafood, pasta with mussels or vongole, risotto, and dishes where olive oil, lemon, and herbs play a central role. The wine is made from grapes grown in the producer’s different vineyard sites, where organic and biodynamic principles are followed, and it is vinified and aged in stainless steel for 10 months to preserve purity, structure, and sense of place.
Chateau Rahoul Graves Blanc
A classic and elegant Graves Blanc with aromas of white peach, citrus, lime blossom, and subtle herbal nuances. On the palate, it offers both roundness and freshness, with fine breadth, depth, and a long, balanced finish. This is a wine that works especially well with lobster, crab, oysters, fish served with butter or cream sauce, roast chicken, and aged cheeses. The white grapes, primarily sémillon together with sauvignon blanc, are hand-harvested in small crates, pressed under inert gas to preserve freshness and aromatics, vinified in oak, and then aged for 8–9 months.
Chateau Ste. Michelle – Chardonnay Indian Wells
A full-bodied and generous Chardonnay in classic New World style, with rich fruit and notes of pineapple, mango, butterscotch, and a touch of toasted oak. The texture is soft, rounded, and lightly creamy, making the wine both inviting and very easy to enjoy. It pairs wonderfully with seafood, grilled salmon or other white fish, chicken, dishes with creamy sauces, Caesar salad, and creamy cheeses. The wine is aged sur lie for 7–9 months in a combination of French and American oak, neutral oak, and stainless steel, giving it both richness, complexity, and a beautifully integrated oak expression.
