Detailed tasting notes The nose opens with heather smoke, honey and malt, followed by raisins, dates and dried figs. This is joined by orange zest, cinnamon, clove and a lightly nutty note reminiscent of walnuts and sherry-soaked oak. There is also a subtle coastal character in the background, adding lift and freshness to the aroma.
On the palate, it is rich and dense, with a powerful arrival of dark fruit, sherry sweetness and honeyed malt.
