J. S. RASCH VIN & SPIRITUS
J. S. Rasch Wine and Colonial Goods has been selling life’s finer things since 1807. The current ownership goes back two generations.

The 2014 vintage of this wine achieved 96 points and a gold medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards, and the 2016 follows suit in quality and style.
It is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with only 3g of sugar per serving. litres. Makes it nice and dry and refreshing.
Not only is this wine organic, but the entire package is completely sustainable. The bottle is made from recycled glass, the label is cotton instead of paper, and the foil is made from recycled tin and aluminium.
This is fantastic quality and provenance for the price.
Lemon and almonds abound with hidden undercurrents of crisp salinity, all superbly held in check on the palate with taut acidity. Exceptionally good, this wine has so much to offer with bags of nervous energy. Ideally, it should have a few more years in the bottle. Drink 2024 – 2032.
